Holiday Inn Express Rawlins by IHG

There was some noises coming from adjacent rooms, pounding and slamming door. But overall as I would expect for the quality and comfort in the Holiday Inn Express line.

Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is just ok though. The orange juice tastes like it’s been marinated in a plastic container in the summer heat. Real chemical taste. The food is good. But nothing special, just your average breakfast in terms of options.

Very clean rooms the pool was absolutely amazing. The breakfast was filling and DELICIOUS. will definitely be back. want to go back just to go swimming. Thank you for THE WONDERFUL STAY!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The bed was DEVINE! Mattress topper that was sooo dreamy, and the pillows were 1 firm, and 1 soft. Fiber filled to feel like down, and one feather and down. I slept like a dream. Just 1 problem, well two... the shower pressure was horrible, very bad, sooo little water came out, it took so long to take a shower and wash my hair. The Dove shampoo, conditioner and soap were nice, as was the keurig type coffee maker.

I stayed at the HIE last night with my family and our pets. The staff was friendly and helpful from the begining to the end of our stay. The pet fees are reasonable. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after 14 hours of travel. Beds were comfy. Big store located next door, gas and food were located nearby. Easy freeway access. Reasonably priced. We will visit again.

Only complaint was the bathroom. The yellow scum that appears from not cleaning properly needs to be cleaned where the shower wall meets floor and also at the edge of the wheelchair ramp at the shower floor. There's a crease. Use a brush and a proper cleanser. Trash can liners and bar soap wete also missing. Comfy beds and pillows. Nice staff.

Five Stars! I was pleasantly surprised by how much better the room looked in person compared to the photos online. The renovations made a noticeable difference. I originally thought I was getting a jacuzzi suite and was a little disappointed when I realized I wasn’t, but that feeling quickly disappeared when I saw how nice the room actually was. The room was very clean, well stocked, and clearly well cared for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which I appreciated so much after a long day of driving. Everything within the hotel’s control was truly excellent. Breakfast had plenty of options, and as someone with celiac disease who eats gluten-free, I was impressed with the variety. One thing I really appreciated was how most of the doors did not slam shut. There was a family with young children staying across two rooms nearby, and it was refreshing not to be disturbed as they moved between rooms. The walls also seemed thicker than average. I only heard occasional voices in the hallway, not through the room walls, which made the stay feel even more restful and private. The shower was spacious with great water pressure, and the Dove body wash and hair care products smelled amazing, even though I didn’t use them. The eco-friendly setup took me by surprise, especially not having trash bags in the bin, but when I asked the front desk, they were happy to provide one. The microwave worked perfectly, and the fridge kept all my food cold. The elevator gave a small jolt at first, which was a little startling, but it ran without any issues throughout my stay. There was a good selection of vending items on the third floor at reasonable prices, and there may be more options on other floors. Every staff member I encountered was warm and friendly. The front desk was quick to greet me every time I walked by or came up to ask a question, and it genuinely made me feel welcome. I will absolutely stay here again on my next trip, especially for the convenience of having a hearty breakfast I can safely enjoy.

Excellent hotel. Bed and pillows are comfy! Super clean rooms. Looks new. Front desk employees are awesome!
